Doctors Profile
Dr. Rohit Karnik completed his B.D.S from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai in 2003. He went on to pursue M.D.S in Periodontics from Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal and completed it in 2007.
He has trained extensively and maintains a keen interest in Dental Implants and Perio-aesthetics. Dr Karnik believes in continuously improvising his clinical skills while implementing the latest technology; in dentistry as a whole and Periodontics in particular.
In his quest for continuing dental education he has also obtained “Diploma in Laser Dentistry” from Aachen University, Germany and Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry.
He is attached to Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai as Consultant Periodontist and Laser Dentist.
He has served as a faculty member at the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai, in the past, and is still actively engaged in academics while being committed to a full time clinical practice, simultaneously.
Dr. Karnik is a member of the following dental societies
- Indian Dental Association (IDA)
- Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP)
- Fellow of the Academy of General Education (FAGE)
- Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry (IALD)
He has been invited as a guest speaker in various conferences.
Dr. Karnik believes high quality dental care stems from combining strong clinical and technical skills with a commitment to his patients’ well being. He continuously endeavors to provide excellent dental care to his patients, attends conferences and continuing education programs to update his knowledge and integrate the latest available technology into his clinical practice.
